FACTORS ASSOCIATED WITH THE INCIDENCE OF PLACENTAL RETENTION

Bleeding is the number one cause of maternal death 40-60% deaths in Indonesia. This study aims to determine factors associated with incidence retained placenta Prabumulih Regional General Hospital 2020. type research quantitative using an analytical survey method. through a cross sectional approach. The sample this was all maternity mothers who were treated at 2020 totaling 678 random techniques, simple sampling (simple sampling) 88 respondents. uses secondary data, namely data taken from medical record observations check list. results univariate analysis showed that respondents had placenta, 43 people (48.9%) smaller than those did not experience as many 45 (51.1%). From bivariate analysis, P Value = 0.047 < 0.05, indicates there significant relationship between age and 0.029 parity obtained 0.006 0 0.05 history abortion 0.000 <0.05, cesarean section placenta.
